1. INTERNAL QUALITY ASSURANCE CELL (IQAC) :

The establishment of Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) by accredited institutions (after the first cycle) is a major step in pushing long-term quality standards. IQAC in our institution is a significant administrative body that is responsible for all quality matters. It is the prime responsibility of IQAC to initiate, plan and supervise various activities that are necessary to increase the quality of the education imparted in our institution. The role of IQAC in maintaining quality standards in teaching, learning and evaluation becomes crucial, and the present research is therefore undertaken on a smaller scale to determine the exact status and functioning of IQAC and its outcome.

Objective:

  • To identify, adapt and implement best practices in terms of research and development.
  • To develop a quality system for the continuous monitoring and recording of activities to improve curricular and co-curricular activities.
  • To enact measures towards quality improvement.
  • To organize and attend workshops , seminars on quality related themes and promotion of all round development of staff and students

  1. Any act of Indiscipline, Teasing or Handling with Rudeness.
  2. Any act that Prevents, Disrupts the Regular Academic Activity.
  3. Any activity which is likely to cause Annoyance, hardship, Psychological Harm or creates Fear or Apprehension.
  4. Any Act of Financial Extortion or Forceful Expenditure.
  5. Any Act of Physical Abuse causing Assault, Harm or danger to Health.
  6. Any Act of abuse by spoken words, emails, SMS or public insult etc.
  7. Any Act of injury or infringement of the fundamental right to the human dignity.
  8. Any Act of Wrongful Confinement, Kidnapping, molesting or committing unnatural offences, use of criminal forces, trespass or intimidation.
  9. Any unlawful assembly or conspiracy to ragging.

3. KPBNI ALUMNI:

To promote, strengthen and foster fellowship among the former students of K. Pandyarajah Ballal Nursing Institute, College of Nursing, we have Alumni Association .The membership is open to all graduates of the Institution . The aluminees meet up once a year and conduct indoor and outdoor activities.

4. STUDENT NURSES’ ASSOCIATION (SNA):

The Student Nurses’ Association of K. Pandyarajah Ballal Nursing Institute, College of Nursing is one of the best platforms for the student nurses and it provides curricular and co-curricular programs, communicates issues and concerns relevant to nursing. It encourages participation in community health-related activities and promotes legislative involvement of the nursing student. The SNA aids in the development of the student as a whole person, her professional role and her responsibility for healthcare of people in all walks of life. SNA unit of our college strictly follows the Bye- laws of Trained Nurses Association of India (TNAI). AIM The aim of SNA is to provide programs representative of fundamental and current professional interest concerns to nursing students. Membership in SNA aids in the development of the whole person, including the professional role.

OBJECTIVES

  • To promote participation in student community affairs.
  • To involve the students in intercollegiate sports and cultural activities.
  • To promote collaborative relationships with various health organizations.
  • To bring out the talents and confidence of the students for the up liftment of self and society.
  • To inculcate the value of espirit de corps.
  • To develop leadership abilities among the students.
  • To improve the students social contacts to enhance professional growth.

5. NSS(NATIONAL SERVICE SCHEME):

The National Service Scheme is an Indian government-sponsored public service program conducted by the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports of the Government of India. Popularly known as NSS, the scheme was launched in Gandhiji’s Centenary year in 1969.

Motto: The Motto of NSS “Not Me But You“, reflects the essence of democratic living and upholds the need for self-less service. NSS helps the students development & appreciation to other person’s point of view and also show consideration towards other living beings. The philosophy of the NSS is a good doctrine in this motto, which underlines on the belief that the welfare of an individual is ultimately dependent on the welfare of the society as a whole and therefore, the NSS volunteers shall strive for the well-being of the society.
