Eligibility for admission

Age Limit: 17 – 35 years.

  1. Date of birth as recorded in the 10th standard certificate / birth certificate will be taken as authentic. No changes in the date of birth will
    be made once the candidate is enrolled for the course.

Academic Qualification:

  1. The minimum qualification required for admission is a pass in Pre-University course /PDC or Examination which is equivalent to 10+2 Higher Secondary Examination after a period of 12 years of study recognized by Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences. with Science
    Subjects Viz. Physics, Chemistry, Biology.

Percentage of Marks:

  1. The candidate must have passed in the subject of Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English and must have obtained not less than 45% marks in Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English at the Qualifying examination.

Marital Status:

  1. Candidates married and unmarried are eligible to apply.
  1. Candidates Should be Medically fit.

DECLARATION OF RESULTS

B.Sc. Nursing – Criteria to Pass:-
For a pass in theory, a candidate shall secure not less than 50% marks in aggregate i.e. marks obtained in written examination and Internal Assessment added together. Same is applied for practical examination too.

DECLARATION OF CLASS:

Distinction: 75% and above marks in the grand total aggregate in the first attempt.
First class: 65 % to 75% in aggregate of total marks in the grand total in the first attempt.
Second class: 50% and more and less than 65%.
Pass class: Candidate who passes in more than one attempt irrespective of the percentage of marks secured. Ranks shall be declared on the basis of the aggregate marks obtained by a candidate in the university subjects of the course. Only those candidates who have passed all the subjects of the university examinations in the first attempt shall be eligible for the award of rank.
